Chasing a leaderboard spike with fifty angry attempts in one night usually stalls. This plan treats 67 Speed Challenge like a short interval skill: warm up, hit a few quality 20-second efforts, log what happened, recover. It merges advice that used to be scattered across separate posts on warmups, plateaus, consistency, and high-score tips.

Not medical advice. If you feel sharp pain, numbness, or joint swelling, stop and talk to a professional. This is a free browser game, not physiotherapy.

Principles that beat grind culture

  • Quality over volume: 3–6 serious runs beat 30 messy ones.
  • One variable per day: light, amplitude, tempo, or mode—not all at once.
  • Separate modes: webcam and keyboard train different skills; log them apart.
  • Protect wrists: see safety guide before day 1.
  • Combo math: sustaining RPS bands matters more than a heroic first second—read scoring.

Daily session template (20–30 minutes)

  1. 2 minutes mobility (wrist circles, gentle finger spreads, shoulder rolls)
  2. 1–2 easy runs at 50–70% effort (calibration only)
  3. 3 hard runs with full rest (60–90 seconds between)
  4. Optional: 1 “form-only” run focusing on palms and frame
  5. 30 seconds notes: best score, estimated RPS feel, one sentence on errors

Day 1 — Detection first

Follow the lighting checklist. Do not care about leaderboard. Goal: three runs where both hands stay tracked. Note which light angle worked.

Day 2 — Amplitude

Cut pump height by ~30% from your natural “dance move.” If reps rise, your old amplitude was leaking out of frame or blurring. If reps fall, add a little height back until the peak–valley threshold is clearly crossed.

Day 3 — Tempo ladder

Run 1: metronome-smooth. Run 2: +10% speed. Run 3: controlled max. Compare scores, not ego. Often Run 2 wins because combo stays alive.

Day 4 — Keyboard

Keys 6 and 7 only, alternate. Sit tall, use fingertips, keep shoulders soft. This day teaches rhythm without vision noise.

Day 5 — Combo endurance

Watch the combo label. Practice re-entering HYPER after a stumble instead of flailing. Remember: level 1 starts near 3.5 RPS; level 2 near 6.0; level 3 near 8.5 in the rolling 2-second window.

Day 6 — Opposite mode

If you always webcam, do keyboard—and vice versa. Transfer is imperfect but often reveals tempo habits.

Day 7 — Test day

Perfect setup, two warm runs, three scored runs. Publish a callsign only if you want; letters and spaces only. Then rest tomorrow.

Sample training log (illustrative playtest week)

Numbers below are a realistic composite from internal playtesting on a laptop webcam in average room light, then improved light—not a promise of your results.

Notice score jumped most when signal quality and amplitude improved—not only when effort increased. That pattern repeats for many players.

When you plateau

  • Film one attempt (or watch skeleton) and look for frame exits
  • Change only lighting or only amplitude for a day
  • Insert a keyboard day to reset panic tempo
  • Sleep and wrist recovery beat “one more try” after form collapses
  • Re-read how detection works so you stop fighting physics

Warmup mini-routine (90 seconds)

  1. 20s wrist circles each direction
  2. 20s finger open/close
  3. 20s slow alternate pumps without scoring
  4. 10s shake-out + breathe
